Terms of Use
These terms are short on purpose. By using the Every Item app or this website, you agree to them.
1. Who we are
Every Item is made by an independent developer based in California (“we”, “us”).
2. The app
The app is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, together with these terms. If the two conflict, Apple's agreement wins.
3. Your data is your responsibility
The app stores your information on your iPhone. We don't keep a copy, so we can't restore data that is lost if your device is lost, reset or damaged. Keep your iPhone backed up and export anything important.
4. Reminders and guides are helpers, not guarantees
Return and warranty dates in the app are based on what you enter or what the app reads from your receipts, and reminders depend on your iPhone's notification settings. Store policies and warranties change and have exceptions. Always confirm deadlines and terms with the retailer or manufacturer. The guides on this website are general information, not legal, financial or insurance advice. We aren't responsible for a missed return, a denied warranty claim or an insurance outcome.
5. Purchases
Every Item is free for up to 25 items. Every Item Pro is available as a yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Payments, renewals, cancellations and refunds are handled by Apple through the App Store under Apple's terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, which you can do in your Apple Account settings.
6. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the app or website, try to break them, or use them to break the law.
7. No warranty
The app and website are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, except where the law of your home country requires otherwise.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the “Last updated” date above when we do. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.
